Global Forum on Bioethics in Research
The Global Forum on Bioethics in Research (GFBR) exists to provide a global platform for the exchange and sharing of experience and expertise on research ethics among researchers, research policy makers and ethicists, among others. The Forum also facilitates debate on ethical, social, legal and public policy issues related to biomedical research, and specifically of research involving countries from the north conducting research in the south.

The Center for Clinical Bioethics (CCB) was established in 1991 as a center of excellence at Georgetown University Medical Center, complementing the activities in ethics of the other divisions of the University.
HIV/AIDS Developing World Bioethics
The HIV/AIDS Developing World Bioethics web portal was developed by the Bioethics Division of the Faculty of Health Sciences at Witwatersrand University, South Africa. It provides information about ethical, legal and social issues (ELSI) of HIV/AIDS in the developing world, with a specific focus on the African continent. The section on AIDS trials contains information about guidelines, ethical concepts, drug availability, standards of care, vaccine research, ethics review, researcher and research participants. Other sections cover drug prices, resource allocation, healthcare professionals, communities, patients, research papers and legal issues. The site also contains daily news through links to articles about HIV/AIDS published in a range of periodicals.
International Health Research at the Harvard School of Public Health
The overarching mission of the Harvard School of Public Health is to advance the public's health through learning, discovery, and communication. Presently running the NIH grant titled "Ethical issues in International Health Research". This program explores differences between and within countries with regard to health research ethics and conducts training workshops.
Institutional Review Board (IRB) Discussion Forum
IRB Forum (previously known as "MCWIRB") promotes the discussion of ethical, regulatory and policy concerns with human subjects research. The IRB Forum strives to create an atmosphere for open and respectful conversation about issues of mutual interest to the members. Although the privacy of e-mail cannot be guaranteed, the members of The IRB Forum should respect the confidentiality and opinions of others on the list. International participants are welcome. There is no membership fee.

International Research Ethics Network for South Africa (IRENSA)
The University of Cape Town Centre for Bioethics has received a generous four year grant from the John E. Fogarty International Center of the US National Institutes of Health to support bioethics education in international research ethics in Southern Africa.
International Association of Bioethics (IAB)
The IAB aims to link those working in bioethics and related fields by facilitating contacts and the exchange of information, encouraging the discussion of cross-cultural aspects of bioethics, and developing research and teaching programmes. It organizes periodical international conferences in bioethics, and publishes the journal Bioethics which has a companion entitled Developing World Bioethics.
HIV AIDS Vaccines Ethics Group (HAVEG)
The HIV/AIDS Vaccines Ethics Group (HAVEG) is based at the School of Psychology , University of KwaZulu-Natal (Pietermaritzburg) with the aim to facilitate the ethical conduct of HIV vaccine trials in South Africa , through empirical and conceptual research, and training.
